Hi, I’m Adam Pigott a so called ‘up and coming’ motorsport photographer. I’m currently 18 years of age and I love motorsport. Motorsport is essentially one of my favourite past times, I don’t race I just photograph them. I’ve always been a big fan of cars and also was a fan of art. I didn’t really get into photography until about 2006, due to the massive GT4 game which persuaded me to pick up a real camera and give it a try, in 2007 I received my first camera which was a Fuji F40fd, within a very short amount of time I felt like I’d reached the limit of what the camera could technically do. I went to a motorsport event in 2007 and discovered the camera couldn’t pan at all, no matter what I tried (I had a relatively good knowledge of my camera by this point), so I aimed to upgrade within the next year.

I bought a Canon EOS 350D in 2008, and started to attend some motorsport events. Over the next few years I found myself visiting as many events as I possibly could (more so in 2010 where I visited 8 motorsport events). In 2011 I have even bigger plans, last year I visited some bigger events for the first time ever such as the British round of the FIA GT1, this was a superb taste of GT racing and it certainly got me hooked. This year, I have 11 events in the pipeline, ranging from FIA GT to LMS Series.

Simply put, I can’t wait for the season to begin. I hope you enjoy my work from this year.

Update:

From a business point of view I’m now equipped with public liability insurance and available to hire, so to speak.

Here’s a list of events that I’m intending to visit (you’ll notice how this has grown since this beginning of year thanks to a friend becoming a marshal meaning I can attend even more than ever! Although don’t ask how I can afford this…). The list also has a few possibilities in there, that I may or may not attend.

As you can see, plenty to keep myself busy!
